Departing runway 28L as "Speedbird 71F Heavy" to LHR with a mismatched #2 engine cowling. These 77Ws remained rare visitors at SFO for the first few years of operation, until one season where BA swapped the 77W and 744 between the SAN and SFO routes in the late 2010s. Since then, they have been common visitors outside of the pandemic 787 days. In fact, this was either the first or one of the first 77Ws to return to SFO after the pandemic. British Airways had the most consistent service to SFO of any European carrier during the Spring and Summer of 2020.
